Buyers beware this April as word has come down that GTA’s maker Rockstar have region locked their newest title Bully: Scholarship Edition and has been tested by Videogamesplus. This coincides with other Rockstar games of the past including Rockstar Table Tennis and other GTA titles on the first xbox.
With pre-order fever kicking in for the game I am thinking it wise to hold off until the day of the release, otherwise we would end up with another Halo 3 disaster and get the game with Chinese instead of English.
If you are a PS3 person, then I would say that you should consider buying GTA IV from any country as it will be region free, though please be aware that this may not have your language and you may not be able to get some of the download content that has only been only slated as a Xbox 360 only release.
If you are from the UK,
GAME is offering 500 free Xbox Live points to customers who pre-order Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV.X box 360 users will receive the points and four exclusive Gamerpics when the highly-anticipated title is released on April 29. The offer includes pre-orders of the standard edition and limited bundle which comes with an art book, soundtrack CD, safety deposit box and keychain, and duffel bag.
The retailer will also backdate the offer for anyone who has already pre-ordered the game.
The offer by GAME follows HMVs similar points giveaway for customers who pre-ordered Microsoft’s Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360.

Wtf, from where I live there is no contact to most online retailers because of my location, and GTA IV will be banned here just like they banned every other GTA game, and I own a PAL system and the only place I can get banned games sells NTSC, not much choices here for me.
We have the PAL version for the Xbox 360 at £37.99 delivered. Feel free to contact us on : webmaster@hgentertainment.co.uk
